Kadai Chicken Recipe By Sanjeev Kapoor

What ingredients do you need to include?

  • 750 g chicken
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 3 medium tomatoes, mashed
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 10 black peppercorns
  • 2 dried red chilies
  • 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chilis
  • 2 tablespoons cashew nuts, pasted
  • Coriander leaves for a side dish
  • Salt to taste

Direction to prepare   

  1. First of all, dry all cooked peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and dry red chilies.
  2. Let it cool and crush it.
  3. Take a pan and put oil on it, do heat the oil and prepare the cut onions unless it turns to brown color
  4. Mix the ginger-garlic paste and prepare for at least 30 seconds.
  5. Include green chilies and prepare for at least 20 seconds.
  6. The, mix the dry roasted zings, blend and prepare only for 1 minute.
  7. Mix the chicken, tomato puree, cashew paste, and salt together well. Prepare for at least 15 minutes.

What ingredients do you need to include?

  • 400 g boneless chicken cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter

What ingredients do you need to marinate?

  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic paste
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons mustard oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala

 What ingredients do you need to make gravy?

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 clove
  • 2 cardamom
  • 3 black pepper
  • 1-inch cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • ½ cup tomato puree
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup fresh cream
  • ½ teaspoon Kasurimethi

Direction to Prepare

  1. Add lemon juice, salt, and red chili powder in a container and mix well, next throw the chicken dices in it. Put to one side.
  2. Droop the yogurt in a muslin cloth for at least 20 minutes and then put it in the container with chicken.
  3. Mix ginger and garlic paste, salt, mustard oil, red chili powder, and garam masala well and keep it inside a fridge for at least 3-4 hours.
  4. Heat up the oven to 400 degrees F. Twine the chicken dices on top of rods and prepare it for at least 12 minutes.
  5. Then, saturate the chicken using butter and prepare for 2 minutes.
  6. To make the gravy, preheat the butter in a pan and merge black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves altogether.
  7. Deep-fry for at least 2 minutes and then mix ginger and garlic paste well. Prepare for 2 minutes.
  8. Mix tomato pulp, red chili powder, ½ cup water, and salt.
  9. Bring around a boil and then seethe for at least 10 minutes.

What ingredients do you need to include?

  • 400 g boneless chicken breast chops
  • 4-5 sliced garlic
  • 200 g cheese
  • 4-5 smashes black peppercorns
  • Take salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 egg whipped
  • 1 cup bread bits
  • 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • Oil to deep-fry
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise

Direction to prepare

  1. Add chicken with egg, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, coriander leaves, mashed peppercorns, salt, and garlic altogether.
  2. Steep for at least one hour. Use toothpicks; twine every cheese dice with two chicken dices.

  • 10 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 8 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mustard oil
  • 6 tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
