- Keyword in Title: Keyword is a query or search term which gives a leads to your business and query is search term which user searches on Search Engines. For example, I am writing the article on digital marketing my title should be like what is digital marketing and its scope?
- Keyword in URL: URL is a Uniform Resource Locator basically an internet address, for example, HTTP:// www.digitalmarketing.com usually containing the access of protocol (HTTP), the domain name (www.digitalmarketing.com) and the way to a file or resource residing on that server. For example, my keyword is digital marketing my URL should be www.digitalmarketing.com or you can select keyword as per your niche.
- Keyword Density: To find keyword density we need to search keyword on google and you will find search results if searches come from 20000 to 50000 then competition is Low you need to use 1.2 keywords per 100 words if search results come more than 50000 to 100000 it is medium competition you need to use 1.5 keywords per 100 words and if search result comes more than 100000 then competition is high you need to use 1.8 keywords per 100 words.
- Keyword in Anchor Text: Anchor text is a clickable hypertext link. For example my keyword is digital marketing institute in Delhi I would anchor that which is the best way of getting outbound links.
- Keyword in Headings: Use the keyword in heading, for example, my keyword is digital marketing I will use headings like the scope of digital marketing, benefits of digital marketing, trends in digital marketing etc.
- Keyword at the Beginning of the Document: You should use keyword when you begin your document, for example, my keyword is digital marketing I will start my article in the first paragraph and put it there.
- Keyword in Alt Tags: Use alt tag in images for example when I upload an image of digital marketing I will put the keyword in the alt tag.
- Keyword in Meta Tags: Meta tag is basically set of command and instructions given to search engine bots by users. Use the keyword in a Meta tag. For example <Meta name = “keyword” content =k1, k2, k3, k4, k5”/> where k= keyword.
- Keyword Proximity: Keyword proximity means putting keywords in equal distances. For example, my keyword is digital marketing I have written five paragraphs, each paragraph is of hundred word and my competition is high, then I will put two keywords in every paragraph.
- Keyword in Phrases: A Phrase is a group of words. Use keyword in the phrase, for example, Top Digital Marketing Institute.
- Secondary Keywords: Secondary keyword is that keyword other than which have less search and competition. For example, my primary keyword is digital marketing institute and its secondary keyword will be like Internet Marketing Institute.
- Keyword Stemming: Keyword stemming is the process of finding out root words of query or search. For example dog food you may get click on doggy food you may need not to optimize for it.
- Synonyms: Use synonyms more than as possible you may get clicks, result at what people searches. For example synonym of digital marketing is Internet Marketing, Online Marketing etc.
- Keyword Mistypes: Keyword mistypes is the spelling error on your website. For example Christmas and Xmas so we need to optimize for it user might get negative impact from us.
- Keyword Dilution: Keyword dilution means unnecessary using of unnecessary keywords it will affect your UI/UX which is user interface and user experience.
- Keyword Stuffing: Keyword stuffing is using more than 2 keywords per 100 words you may get punish and bans from search engines.
