MBBS & BDS National Level Entrance Test
National Eligibility cum entrance test is going to be conducted for candidates looking for admissions into MBBS and BDS programs. This entrance exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education Board. Interested candidates may expect its application form availability in first and second week of January, 2017 and exam is going to be conducted on 7th May, 2017.
Latest on Entrance Exam-
This exam is conducted in eight different languages including Tamil, Hindi, English, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi and Telugu.
Eligibility Criteria-
Candidate should citizen of India
Candidate should be a minimum of 17 years old at the time of admission on or before 31st December of the year of admission
The upper age limit is 25 years for general category and 30 years for reserved categories
Important Dates-
Online application will initiate in first week of January, 2017
Last date to submit the application form without the late fee is in February, 2017
Admit card will be made available online in the month of April, 2017
Exam will be conducted on 7th May, 2017
Result will be declared in the month of June, 2017
Exam Pattern-
Candidates will find question paper consisting of 180 questions of multiple choice questions
Every question will carry 4 options
Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Questions can be answered with the ball point pen only
The duration of the exam is 3 hours only
Language of the exam will be either Hindi or English
Candidates should have cleared 12th class from a recognized board
Candidates are required to bring admit card, Post card size photograph, card board and ball point pen
Candidates are required to carry either blue or black ball point pen
It comprises of 4 sections which are as-
Physics comprises of 45 questions
Chemistry also comprise of 45 questions
Zoology consists of 45 questions
Botany also consists of 45 questions
Syllabus-
The syllabus for the entrance exam will comprise of four subjects namely- Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
Questions will be asked from the topics of above mentioned subjects
Entrance exam will contain question from syllabus of 11th and 12th class of CBSE and NCERT prescribed syllabus
Some questions could even be asked from the syllabus of other boards.
Admit Card-
Candidates who have filled and submitted the application form for the entrance exam completely and successfully will be eligible to download the admit card. Candidate can download the admit card from the official website of the exam conducting authority. The expected date for the admit card availability is in the month of April, 2017
Result-
The Central Board of Secondary Education board is responsible for the declaration of the result. Result will be declared by the first week of June, 2017. Candidate has to visit the official website for the purpose of checking the result. Candidates will have to check the result with the help of application id and password allotted to them at the time of registration for the NEET entrance exam 2017
